Savannah, a proud Jacksonville State University alumna, is the creative force behind Petite Play. With a background as a business education teacher and experience as an assistant principal, Savannah's journey into entrepreneurship began in an unexpected yet inspiring way.
While teaching marketing, Savannah challenged her students to come up with their own business ideas, and that's when Petite Play was born — right alongside her students' projects!
"I'm incredibly grateful to my students for their inspiration and the ideas they shared during the early days of Petite Play. Watching their creativity in action and getting their feedback on my own project was the most rewarding experience. They amazed me every single day!"
With a passion for crafting a safe, welcoming space for children and families to make lasting memories, Savannah knows firsthand the importance of fostering strong family bonds. Her background in education has given her a unique perspective on the powerful impact of positive family dynamics on children's development.
When Savannah moved to Gadsden, she saw a gap in the community for places that cater to young children. As a mom herself, she longed for a space where she could connect with other local moms and let her little one play safely.
"My hope is that Petite Play becomes your go-to spot for family fun and memory-making. I also want to create a place where moms new to the area, or those just looking for a connection with others in the same stage of life, can feel welcome. My family and I are so thankful for the overwhelming support we've received, and we can't wait to give back to this amazing community!"
Savannah's vision is clear: Petite Play is more than just a play space — it's a community hub where families grow closer, friendships are formed, and memories are made.
